The practice marketing yourself for "Odd Jobs" event game networking night TONIGHT and giveaways is CANCELED.
I've never had to cancel an event before unless I was really sick. This was because of lack of commitments. I would've done this specific event (not saying these are my rules for other events) IF I would've had AT LEAST 3 other people besides me, but couldn't make it work.
I plan to put a sign up on the bowling alley door (in case someone I don't know didn't get the message) and shows up. I've already canceled the events on my 3 meetup pages, emailed the News Tribune events calendar staff to please remove my event, deleted it off Eventbrite, deleted it off eventsi, and am now sending it on Facebook and LinkedIn. I will put it on my blog on my website as well which is: http://www.worksolutionstoday.com/blog as well.
Please do NOT expect events from me in the summer months (September is included in that since it's still summer most of that month) since SO MANY people go on vacations and are BUSIER than normal, plus Labor Day weekend is this weekend (didn't realize that when I planned this event TONIGHT AND the Washington State Fair starts THIS Friday).
December is another month for NO events since it's such a crazy month for everyone it doesn't matter if you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanza the whole month MANY people are focused on their holiday shindigs, getting their home ready for the holidays, etc., having family come from out of town, getting ready for the holidays, (New Year's is right after whatever ONE of those holidays you celebrate as well, etc).
