Happy New Year! I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year. I know I did. It was my first year spending Christmas Eve with my family as well as just Christmas Day.
Now that it's a New Year, I'm sure you've got goals and projects that you've been putting off or need to revisit.
I wanted to highlight two services for the New Year (I picked two so that one could be geared to career seekers and one to business owners and/or individuals in general).
SERVICE HIGHLIGHT FOR JANUARY FOR CAREER SEEKERS:
Not sure what career path you should pursue? Have too many interests, but can't nail down a career path? My proprietary career personality test is a 64-question test that you can take about yourself in which you would answer what you feel would be the "best" answer for you based on what YOU think, not what you think others think of you. You can take the test from anywhere. The test is $109.90 (with tax), after you take the test, I will grade your test and provide you an analysis of your personality, at least 4 recommended career fields for you in order of strongest match for you, recommendations on where you can receive training for your recommended career fields, as well as a 10-minute debrief phone call after you take the test. If more time is needed than the 10 minutes, continued debriefing and consulting can be available for a rate of $2 a minute and will be due upon completion of the call. Note: My career personality test is the only item out of all my services that I have to tax and the tax collected gets paid to Department of Revenue every year outside of regular taxes due every year by April.

Need help consulting about ideas on how to market your business more efficiently and/or effectively? Or need help with a writing or editing project (whether you are a business owner or not?) I provide 30-minute phone consultations for $60 and that includes me reviewing an 11-question writing & editing questionnaire to better assist you at our phone consultation in which you fill out and provide to me prior to our call. If additional documents need to be reviewed (i.e. book, bio, article, website, personal essay statement, etc.) an additional $15 fee per document is charged and if there are no extra document(s) as described above to review, than no $15 charge will occur. Please note that if additional time is needed than 30 minutes, it is available for a rate of $2 a minute and will be due upon completion of the call. Pre-payment for the initial consultation is required before any reviewing/work is performed.
As always, I am open for referrals. A proper way to give me a referral is to ask the person you are referring to me if it is okay for me to reach out to them for a free, no obligation phone call. If they say, yes, then please give me their phone number so that I can call them. When I call them, I will decide if I can help them and determine if they will be interested in a paid consultation or a free price quote (each individual is different), if we are not a good fit, I can always refer them to something that can help them. Just giving my contact information to them is considered a "lead" and I prefer to have the ball in my court versus leaving it in theirs to "hope" that they will call me. If they are not ready, it's always fine to still hand my information to them as well as ask them if they'd like to receive my newsletter so that they can keep me in mind for the future and then give me their email address. I will then send them a follow up email summarizing who I am and the services I provide as well as inform them that they will be on my newsletter and then I will add them. I would like their cell phone number so that I can text them to make sure my email is on their preferred sender list so that I don't end up in their spam or promotions folder which is the case with many people who have gmail accounts.
Some other business news: Please be praying for me that I land these 2 contracts that could have me doing up to 50 resumes for their clients. I've been working on it since before Thanksgiving. Thank you!
