Carly read an article recently on Yahoo, titled: “What are the worst questions job interviewers ask?”

1. Yes, I agree that an interviewer shouldn’t be asking an interviewee his background, as he should have seen it in the candidate’s resume and cover letter, however I can help customers answer the famous question interviewers ask, which is: “So, tell me a little bit about yourself.”
2. Yes, those are lame responses to “what is your biggest weakness?” and I can help customers answer that question while also giving an example, so it doesn’t sound lame and like a canned answer.
3. I agree asking a customer their salary history is a “no-no”. If the interviewee wants to share their salary, it’s up to them, otherwise it really shouldn’t matter.
4. I agree with #7 in the article, totally inappropriate to be asking personal questions such as, “do you have kids?” I’ve gotten those types of questions at interviews, too as well as if I’m married and what year I graduated high school, and how old I am. Asking an interviewee how old they are is an illegal question.
