Aside from the advice in the article to beat out your competition by applying early and following up with emails or interviews with the company promptly, I'd also advise booking your career & resume and LinkedIn consultations with me early, to ensure I can get you as soon as possible so that you can jump on knowing what you need to do pursue your career goals and whether you want to work with me or not.
