I could be saving your life & the life of others you know:
This past Thursday I went to Fred Meyer, the hotdog buns I normally like to get were out. Kinda cleared out in general I mean I get it summer just began & bbq's are at an all time high. 😊
Since my Carbmaster (very tasty; high protein & low carb) hotdog buns weren't present, I thought I'd get Franz brand keto hotdog buns since I've eaten their bread in the past & it was good. That night when I was reading the nutrition info. & was already home from the store, I noticed the following California proposition warning about cancer causing & reproductive harm. (I took an upclose picture of it so you can read it yourself).
It'll make it a little more challenging now with getting just the Kroger brand breads since Franz isn't an option & there's times when Kroger brands aren't available. But I'll make it work. 🙂
Purpose of this story: Look on the back of bread at the store for that warning message so you don't buy it if it's on there. Pay attention (in general) for that warning message on things (even outside of food) i.e. a fold up card table at Fred Meyer had that warning message on the bottom of the table yet another fold up card table right next to it that was a different brand with the same specs & price did not. I had even returned some nice chip clips (same time I returned the Franz bread) since they had that warning message. Last summer I returned some garden gloves that had that warning message. I won't keep listing examples, you get my point. 🙂 Pay attention to those warning messages (they don't necessarily make it easily visible) so if you can't catch it before a purchase, you can after & I've never had a retailer deny me the ability to return it. Be sure to do as soon as possible (of course) so that you don't miss your return window (that applies in general with returns).
On my way home
