A nice in-town photo of some pretty Christmas trees I noticed when driving to Costco this past Friday.
A new (to me) homemade chocolate pound cake recipe I made & instead of making the chocolate glaze with it (that the recipe called for), I tried a cream cheese frosting instead & put peppermint in the frosting. 😋 Yes, I shared with others, too.

Grateful hearts
A 25-second video from the movie "Christmas on Cherry Tree Lane" (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel a 2023 movie) that has great advice for anyone doubting/worrying about what tomorrow will bring (and also what I do every day when counting my blessings). The cop gives advice to another first-time father "to be" (the cop is also a first-time father "to be").
Some tips to have success with watching the (above) video:
- Prior to clicking on the sideways white triangle with the circle around it (that's on the video image above), ensure the device that you're using has the volume on & turned up loud enough for you to hear. This also includes any external speakers (if applicable). If no external speakers, disregard this step. IMPORTANT: you may also have to ensure the volume is turned on full blast as well (the player that automatically comes up when you click on the above video). On my YouTube player the volume automatically comes on as loudest volume, but I'm just providing a potential troubleshooting step for you to try. 🙂
