Greetings Everyone! 🙂

I sent an email to my contact at the Seattle Times today after seeing no new emails from them and logging into their secure email system that they send for me to review proofs for my custom URL to see if maybe it was updated in there and it wasn't. My contact said she would have them reach out to me directly. There have been no emails or voicemails as of the time of me writing this email Friday night from them.

PLEASE do NOT let that stop you from voting for me. I've created finalized steps combined into ONE sequence for your ease to do ONCE per day (midnight is a new day for them) so that's how soon you could get your next day's vote in. 😊

BEFORE going through the steps below to vote for me or just going and doing on your own to vote for me PLEASE read these important tips - be sure to click the button that reads: "Vote in another services category" AFTER voting for me as "woman-owned business" because if you don't and hit the "Review and cast my ballot" button and then "Submit" button that will be your ONE vote for the day as the system will tell you that you have to wait until midnight to vote. If you accidentally for whatever reason do end up making this mistake, you can vote again for the other category you haven't for me yet (i.e. "customer service") on a different internet browser than what you were using on your device (for example, if you were using Chrome, use Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge (as some examples of internet browsers) to do the vote for the second category OR go on a completely different device to do it (i.e. another computer, phone, or tablet).

How to vote 2-in-1 meaning 2 categories in ONE vote

Step-by-step instructions for voting for my business (just keeping it simple) 😊

Step 1: Visit this link: votethepnw.com

Step 2: Click "Services" the 5th box down on the RIGHT side of the screen.

Step 3: Click "Woman-owned business" the 10th box on the TOP RIGHT corner of the page.

NOTE: THE KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS IN STEPS #4-6 ARE IF YOU'RE ON A COMPUTER NOT A PHONE. HOWEVER, IF YOU SEARCH FOR "WORK SOLUTIONS" IN THE LIST INSTEAD OF DOING STEPS #4-6 BELOW, IT'S #12 ON THE LIST SO WAY LESS SCROLLING.

Step 4: Press "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and "F" key on your keyboard simultaneously so that a search box appears on your screen.

Step 5: In the search box type in it "Work Solutions" (minus the quotation marks)

Step 6: Press the "Enter" key on your keyboard and it should find Work Solutions (my business name).

Step 7: Click on the radio button next to "Work Solutions" (minus the quotation marks) that should be listed on your screen.

Step 8: Press button for “Vote in another services category”

Step 9: Press “Customer Service” button as the next option

Step 10: Scroll and find “Work Solutions” in the list and select the radio button next to it

Step 11: Press the green button that reads: "Review & Cast my ballot"

Step 12: Click on the "Submit" button and you're done! 🙂

Step 13: Send an email to [email protected] immediately after voting for me each day. WHY? It holds you accountable and lets me know I'm being voted for. 🙂

Of course, contact me ASAP, too if you have any questions/problems. Thank you! 🙏

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS ONCE PER DAY STARTING TODAY voting started (6/9/25) & goes thru 6/27/25 BEFORE 5 pm PST.

In case you're wondering what I get when I win at least one category for the 'Best in the Pacific NW' contest 🙂👇

Aside from the recognition, bragging rights, more credibility, another award for my business, all winners receive complimentary listings in the winners’ magazine (Gold winners get a photo and a write up to go along with their win). They also receive a full digital presence on the Best In the PNW results sites that stays up year over year to reflect their win in the contest.

My mom's partner asked if I won money. I must admit money would be nice. I should suggest gold winners win $1,000 and regular winners receive $800. (I mean hey, it'd be nice to get back the money for the custom URL with a little extra). 🙂 I'd also liked a signed certificate that I could frame. I seriously will propose this to my contact for this contest. (Remember the answer is always no unless you ask. Besides, it could be something they implement going forward if NOT now). My contact said she would forward my suggestions.

Celebrated our birthdays finally yesterday

Yesterday (Thurs. 6/12), mom and I finally celebrated our birthdays from March. I made stuffed crust sausage and mushroom pizza and mom made the salad and the Reeses' peanut butter lava cakes (it was a box mix that I got from Costco in December for $4.99 and makes 8 small lava cakes). We were pleased with the meal. I photographed a picture of the pizza (the first time I made it this year, but it's the same one I made yesterday, the only difference is I added basil [the seasoning] on it as it's perfect with it). 🙂

We watched "Wicked Minds" an oldie but a goodie (it first aired in March 2003 when I was still a senior in high school). "They don't make them like they used to" (referring to older movies specifically this one) I had told my mom. I'm glad she REALLY liked the movie (this seriously is my favorite movie right now). I originally stumbled across it like April of this year on Amazon Prime and may have seen it LONG ago because I remembered a scene from the movie. It has one of my favorite actors Andrew Walker. There are no boring or slow parts in this movie. If you think you're good at predicting who the killer is in movies, you will have to let me know if you predicted it or not after you watch it (and your thoughts in general, just email me: [email protected]) 😊. I know I didn't know the first time I saw and my mom didn't know either. The almost 4 stars out of 5 that Amazon viewers rated it does NOT do it any justice when I've seen other movies that are rated better and aren't even as good. This movie's genre is a mix of a thriller (but NOT your Chucky type horror movies), romance, and a "who-dunnit" type (guessing the killer). Give it a chance, my mom did and she's a tough sell. And please if you do NOT think the movie deserves a thumbs down (you may have seen 👍 and 👎for after watching movies on Amazon and when you either select one of those the 👍 or 👎it helps Amazon recommend similar movies to your likings) then PLEASE rate it a 👍(I do every time I've watched it and I don't think it affects the score because I think they have it so that a person couldn't hypothetically keep rating a 👍each time they watch it). 😕 I linked the title of the movie above to the movie on Amazon for your convenience. 🙂
Have a good weekend and don't forget to keep voting for me daily (your double-category vote [meaning "customer service" AND "woman-owned"]) even through the weekend, holidays (Father's Day is Sunday) as I need those votes DAILY thru BEFORE 5 pm PST on 6/27. Every vote really does count. 🙏
Thank you,
