Last chance to purchase a follow up letter BEFORE 11:30 pm PST THIS Wed. 7/31/24 when my registration form automatically closes
Are you submitting a follow up letter within 2 weeks after you apply for the position?
This follow up letter can be sent via email to the same email/person you may have submitted for the job, or you may have to do more work (i.e. research online, the company website, etc. to get information on where to send) for an email address to send this follow up letter to (ensuring it's addressed to the appropriate person). You may have to call the company during their regular business hours to get this information asking who you'd send your follow up letter to or you may have to send to their snail mail address on their website where their headquarters is addressed to the hiring person at that company, at their "Contact" form on their website, etc.
Last chance to purchase a follow up letter BEFORE 11:30 pm PST THIS Wed. 7/31/24 when my registration form automatically closes
Here's the link (click on here) to the document (PDF) for the terms & conditions for the follow up letter purchase (I can no longer put on a landing page after you click on the "event registration form" like I could with my newsletter's old event registration system).
Here's the link to take you directly to my registration page to purchase your follow up letters: 👇https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/ev/reg/f4amej5
PLEASE BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE VERY EASY & QUICK INSTRUCTIONS (THEY ARE PROVIDED IN DETAIL) FOR ALMOST ANYONE TO UNDERSTAND TO SUCCESSFULLY PROCESS YOUR PAYMENT ORDER (after visiting my above registration page link). Thank you! 🙏🙂
If you want to pay outside of newsletter without a debit/credit card & with U.S. cash or money order, the deadline to purchase & terms & conditions still apply. You'd have to print off my terms & conditions document, sign & print your full name, date, & state that you understand & will abide by the terms & conditions AND then scan and email me ALL pages of the terms & conditions document NOT just your signed page. Then you'd have to visit a Harborstone Credit Union (there are locations in other cities than Puyallup, WA that may be of convenience to you) & visit them as soon as possible after submitting me your signed terms & conditions document during Harborstone's hours of operation to pay for your follow up letter/(s) with U.S. cash with a teller to "Carly Calabrese's Work Solutions (business account)." You don't need any other information to make this deposit including my account number. You'd send an email to me at: [email protected] confirming this visit/transaction after it was completed. You can always opt to snail mail your payment to me, but I don't make my mailing address public, so you'd have to email me for it. You could then snail mail the printed off & signed terms & conditions document & include with your payment. Please ensure to budget for extra time for snail mail to arrive (even if you're local to the Puyallup, WA area) as delays can occur even during non-high volume mail times (i.e. Christmas time) & you may miss the mail pick up time when you put it in the mail meaning it wouldn't go out until the next mail pick up business day. Thank you! As mentioned before, if you've never emailed me before/got a new email address, etc. to ensure your email gets to me & NOT in my SPAM folder, you can always opt to email me through my website form since it goes directly to my inbox here: http://www.worksolutionstoday.com/contact.html Thank you! 🙏
Why lifelong learning is SO important:
Anyway, back to my story- I remember learning while watching this show that the quickest way to cool down your car after its been sitting in the sun is to open your back windows on while you turn on the air conditioner. I hadn't travelled far (my next stop was to my bank's ATM to withdraw cash so that I could pay my Xfinity bill in person) cash is the only way they accept payment with their machine in the back of the store.
I always get out of the car to better reach the ATM & have my purse when doing so (since it has my debit card to use at the ATM) & normally I hit the "unlock" button before getting out (was in a rush since I wanted to hurry & do this as I was starving as I skipped lunch due to the haircut & Xfinity was closing within the hour) and had I done this ALL of my doors would've been unlocked in my car to prevent what would've happened next. Somehow my door closed & I saw the locks were locked in my car (no other doors were open to just open and I saw my keys sitting on my driver's seat). Luckily, I keep my car insurance information in my wallet/purse (which I had on me) so that I was able to call them for Roadside Assistance (I have this on my policy & have never used for this type of issue & luckily no other issue [except getting my car jumped with another car insurance company in 2014] but saw the value in it back in 2010 when I could've used when my tire was popped from a boulder).
Luckily, I had my phone on me, too (I normally don't have my cell phone in my purse, but on my passenger seat or on the cell holder in my car if I'm using for directions) since I don't like to directly carry my cell on me (unless it's off) in my purse since that's against my body & cell phones emit cancer causing emissions. I think the reason why I brought my phone with me into my haircut place was because since I had my phone on right BEFORE the appointment (in case of a last minute cancellation with a new hairdresser I'd never been with before [referring to if she started experiencing any kind of sick/contagious symptoms of any kind] even if it was RIGHT BEFORE my appointment that I just thought to bring it with me into the haircut place). (Even though my phone would be off in the haircut place, I figured the haircut place would notify me of any cancellation in person). I know, doesn't make sense that I did NOT just leave my phone in the car (like I normally would've, but I think since I was in the mode of having phone near me for a potential last minute sick/contagious cancellation) that, that was why I turned my phone off & put into my purse. My point of explaining all this: That because I had my phone on me for my haircut appointment, it was never taken out when I got back to my car (which I was very glad) because then I had when I was locked out of my car to call Roadside Assistance with my car insurance company.
I obviously wanted to get out of the ATM drive up area because I'd be in the way of other customers wanting to use it. After getting transferred to a non-great English speaker to verify it's me (she couldn't locate me from my policy number, but did by my last name) and after repeating multiple times my address location, I noticed that the ticket that was texted to my phone for the Roadside Assistance request had the right street address except for the numbers! So, I was in the process of calling my insurance company's Roadside Assistance a second time to ensure the correct address was documented (I had an estimated 60-90 minutes estimated arrival from the first agent who provided that estimate since she had no idea & said I would be contacted with an update) when second customers came to want to use the ATM. (The first customer came when I was on the phone with Roadside Assistance the first time) and I explained the situation & how I could NOT reach my arm through the back window to unlock my door. This first customer offered to check her car to see if she had a hanger (which she did NOT) so let me know she couldn't help me. When the second set of customers came (an older woman driver with a man & little boy), I let the driver know my situation. The man tried to do it and then had the little boy reach in (I didn't get to see the specifics even though I was there since I was simultaneously talking to Roadside Assistance (recall the second time). I was able to let Roadside Assistance know to cancel my request (it was immediately cancelled it looks like that was the ONE thing they could do quickly) & to ensure they cancelled my request, I was going to click the "Cancel" button I saw on the ticket that was texted to me, but there was no option to since I was notified that my request was cancelled. I was so grateful & thanked the man & the little boy so much for opening it, now I could get my keys on my driver's seat! 😊🙏 I was able to drive out of there ASAP & actually made it to Xfinity with 5 minutes to spare! Paid my bill & was out of the well before they closed up & locked up.
I had a lot to thank God for that day (in addition to the regular things I thank Him for daily). Some of those additional things I thanked God for that happened this past Saturday included: having my cell phone on me, regularly storing my proof of insurance in my wallet/purse, me leaving my back windows open, the little boy that was able to help me get back into my locked car, NOT having to wait potentially 60-90 minutes for Roadside Assistance, still being able to make it to Xfinity before they closed to pay my bill, & being able to afford the 2 items I had planned to get at my haircut place and my haircut without having to dip into my gas money (even though there were no rewards dollars to use on my account when I was paying there, the cashier offered me a coupon & chipped in .10 both things I did not ask for).
Anyway, the reason why I titled this section of my newsletter "why lifelong learning is SO important" is because had I NOT watched that tip and remembered how to cool your car off quickly with opening your back windows (something I've been doing ever since I learned that) from "Common Knowledge" tv game show, I may/most likely not have gotten into my car as quickly. I hope by telling my story it can remind, inspire, and re-enforce the importance of remembering to be a lifelong learner (in general). Knowledge really is power. My desire for implementing my lifelong learning knowledge saved me time for NOT having to wait for Roadside Assistance and NOT having to wait another day to pay my Xfinity bill. Having the world be about making self-development, lifelong learning, and exercise a priority in their lives every day (NOT just myself & the people around me) is one of my prayers for the world. I saw a post recently on LinkedIn: "Be teachable. You're not always right." I modified it to read: "Be teachable. You don't always know everything," & that's my true belief.
