What I contributed to the article: As much of the job description you want to be able to convey in your resume that you meet the criteria for. It's important to remember the obvious things such as if you have the experience with specific software programs in the job description, be sure to list it in your resume. You can keep your resume engaging by bolding, highlighting, & even italicizing things you want to stand out. For current & recent positions, keep it easy to read with bullet points & try & quantify duties as much as possible. I.e. if you manage finances & pay bills, you manage an approx. $2k - $5k a month income for personal & business expenses. Only list a couple (2) recent accomplishments (in your life/career that you'd like to share) the rest in cover letter.

Happy Anniversary to Work Solutions (this month) is 12 years in business 👏🏼🙌🏼
In honor of the 12 years, I'm giving 12% or $12 off the following services this month:
A LinkedIn Setup/Revamp package - This package is for clients who do not have a LinkedIn profile setup OR who want to update their existing profile. Remember: practically any professional should be on LinkedIn not just career seekers or business owners.
This package includes me completely filling out your LinkedIn profile which includes: interviewing you to tell your work history & a little bit about you as a person & your career goals in your bio. (the "Summary" section on your profile). The interview will take place remotely using "Gotomeeting" (similar to Zoom) where we can hear & see each other live on the computer. This interview is approx. an hour (you will receive the questions I will ask at this remote meeting in advance) so that you can be prepared. I record this meeting & listen to it on my own time to write your bio. You receive 2 sets of edits prior to me uploading your final bio. on your profile. I fill out your entire job history, volunteer experience, causes you support, awards, letters of recommendation, samples of your work, video links, patents, publications, attach pictures, etc. for each job/business you've had. I will change your photo to a professional photo (I do not take pictures of you, I can refer you to a professional photographer if you want assistance with this). They are located in Seattle, WA and are free. I also change your LinkedIn profile URL (website link) so it's more direct, easier to read, & concise. I write an attention grabbing headline on your profile, ask if you want the green 'open to work' logo around your photo on LinkedIn & if so, put in your desired work, and add your "skills" under the "Skills" section on your profile (LinkedIn allows up to 50 skills). I also fix any grammar, punctuation, & spelling throughout your whole profile. All of this is normally $1,168.20 which also includes my newsletter's debit/credit card processing fees, but with the 12% off discount this month it's $1,028.02 to include my newsletter's debit/credit card processing fees (through the "BUY NOW" button below) OR normally $1,100 U.S. cash or money order rate, but with the 12% off discount this month it's $968 U.S. cash or money order.
